My name is Michelle Wood. In January of 2010, my husband and I made a drastic decision to change our lifestyle. It suddenly hit us like a bag of bricks: we were unhealthy. We knew we needed to make a change and we did so with no mercy. We threw out most of the food in our kitchen and started fresh. Since then, we've been on a quest to educate ourselves and get healthy and fit. My husband lost over 60 pounds and I've lost over 30. I went from a size 10/11 to a size 4/5. I've completed several DVD fitness programs and I enjoy running half marathons and Tough Mudders.
This blog is simply an expression of myself. I'll try to update often and share with you what I've learned and how I've pushed myself. I hope to simply inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle and to connect with others who believe the way I do about how we should treat our bodies.
